Getting to many bad backlinks. I am telling you this from experience here… If you go after all the junk backlinks in your market and from the directories, eventually the search engines will catch on and will drop you from the rankings.

I once had a site that had over 20,000 backlinks that I got for free. This was a niche site and did very well. But the problem was all the backlinks I got were from junk sites that were no good.

Eventually I actually lost all my rankings and Page Rank from that site and it is completely useless now.

Traffic Mistake #2:

Buying links to get rankings from link brokering sites. If you are doing this then you better watch out. You can buy links, but don’t do it from these sites that sell them.

The reason is – Google and the other search engines know what these sites are up to and once you get a link from them they will drop your site from the search engines.

Believe me – these are easy things to do – but it is also easy to not do them & succeed the right way… if you know what you are doing.
